A very happy birthday

17! I feel totally different now! Or not at all… 17 is really just an in between year. Another step on the way to turning 18 and being able to vote, drive and go clubbing… Just another year!

It was not going to stop me from having a good day though! I had a great time starting out with my family waking me up by singing, all my friends’ birthday wishes in school and Rikke coming to visit afterwards. My diet was not on, and I ate enough chocolate, cake and candy to cover my needs for the rest of the year. All in all just a cantastic time, even though I was on crutches after jamming my foot the day before. I was a little too determined to win that Ultimate game. There’s just something about my birthday; somebody has to get hurt. Last year S broke her arms, this year it was my turn. Maybe it’s just a way to overcome the misfortune of the year at once….

I feel pretty lucky at the moment anyways… I got rid of the crutches, fall break just started and I’m heading for Sweden and a whole week of relaxing!
