Going to the Hot Houses

Public transportation is a great thing. No doubt. I can go anywhere I want to and don't have to rely on others or my bike. Just get yourself to the nearest station and you can go just about anywhere. The problem, though, is that there might be a train for anywhere but it doesn't go anytime. So now I'm stuck on Copenhagen Central Station, because it'll be 30 min until the next train to Hedehusene. Hedehusene doesn't have an English name, but the direct translation would be "The Hot Houses". We sure do have the best names in Danish - kinda sounds like a village of saunas. Might be why it's so small... And the reason it's so rare that trains stop there...

So why am i going to such tiny place? I'm going to bake an eye cake. By that I don't mean a cake where you just paint an eye on top of the glace or some cheating like that. No we're going to bake a cake that contains all the different parts of the eye, like the lens, cornea and pupil. I promise to take a picture!

Well, I guess the good thing about waiting is that I have to post to my blog... My train is finally here. Today it's actually here on time... Not always the case. Sometimes I wonder if the name of the train company, DSB, actually stands for Don't Stop Believing. You never know today might be the day with no delay ;-)
